Samsara

I often tell people, “If you only knew how loved you are.” We are never alone. Belief in loneliness is an illusion – separation from Creator, our guides, our ancestors is an illusion. This illusion of separation is a source of suffering (*samsara).

Go outside, plant your bare feet in the earth and feel our Mother’s love, listen to her wisdom and know that in every aspect of nature the Holy is waiting for you to listen.

*According to Buddhism, we living beings are trapped in the cycle of existence known as samsara. In samsara, we wander aimlessly and experience unbearable suffering—day and night, year after year, life after life—because of the tight grip of our grasping at self.

The video below is one of my favorite Buddhist chants – it comes from the cd Graceful Passages (Gary Malkin & Michael Stillwater).  It offered me peace and gratefulness during my mother’s transition.
